By booking a session, event, or retreat with Guiding Light Vitality (Sara Krevoy), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms, policies, and disclaimers. These guidelines help create a safe, respectful, and aligned experience for all participants.

1. Scope of Services & Medical Disclaimer

Guiding Light Vitality provides intuitive guidance, energy healing, spiritual support, somatic and movement-based practices, coaching, meditation, workshops, transformational experiences and retreats.

- Not Medical Advice: These services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or legal care. I do not diagnose, treat, or cure conditions, nor do I prescribe medication. Always seek professional assistance for medical or mental health concerns.

- Personal Responsibility: You understand that: Healing is a collaborative process, and results vary by individual; You remain fully responsible for your own physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being during and after sessions; You will communicate relevant limitations, injuries, or personal history ahead of time; You participate voluntarily and at my own risk.

- Not an Emergency Service: Guiding Light Vitality does not provide crisis intervention or emergency response. If you experience a mental health crisis, medical emergency, or thoughts of self-harm, you must contact emergency services immediately.

2. Physical Activity & Health Status

By participating in any movement-based practice, you acknowledge that these activities involve physical exertion.

- Assumption of Risk: You represent that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation.

- Injury Waiver: You agree to move at your own pace and listen to your body. Guiding Light Vitality and Sara are not responsible for any physical injury sustained during or after a class or event.

- Pregnancy/Medical Conditions: If you are pregnant or have a chronic health condition, please consult your physician before participating.

3. Cacao & Dietary Disclosure

For events involving cacao or tea ceremonies:

- Ingredient Awareness: Ceremonial Cacao contains theobromine (a stimulant). It is your responsibility to inform the facilitator of any allergies or sensitivities.

- Contraindications: If you are taking MAOIs (antidepressants), have a serious heart condition, or are pregnant/breastfeeding, you should consult a doctor before consuming cacao. Participation in the ceremony is voluntary, and you may opt-out of consumption at any time.

4. Payment & Booking

Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment, event, or retreat reservation. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policies

Remote sessions, in-person sessions, group experiences, workshops, and retreats may each have unique refund windows (outlined below). Rescheduling follows the same timing and refund structure. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

- Remote Sessions: 48+ hours notice required for a partial refund (minus 2.9% + $0.30 fee). Within 48 hours: Non-refundable. To reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours of notice.

- In-Person Sessions (individuals, couples & groups): 7+ days notice for a full refund; 24 hours to 7 days for a 75% refund. Within 24 hours: Non-refundable. To reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours of notice. Note that if I am unable to accommodate your desired reschedule, no refund will be issued.

- Group Events & Workshops: 10+ days notice for a full refund; 48 hours to 10 days for a 75% refund. Within 48 hours: Non-refundable.

- Retreats: Due to extensive planning, travel, and preparation, retreat cancellations are non-refundable.

6. Late Arrivals

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will receive the remaining time allotted for their session and will not receive prorated pricing or extended time. arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show. For group events, doors may be locked 10 minutes after the start time to maintain the sacred container; no refunds are given for late arrivals who cannot enter.

7. Right to Terminate or Refuse Service

Guiding Light Vitality reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a session/event participation if a client’s behavior is deemed disrespectful, disruptive, or unsafe. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

8. Confidentiality

All client information, experiences, and discussions within individual sessions remain strictly confidential, except in cases where disclosure is required by law (e.g., threat of harm to self or others). Participants in group circles are expected to respect the privacy of other attendees.

9. Media Release

By attending group events, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes (social media, website). If you do not wish to be photographed, you must inform the facilitator before the event begins.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guiding Light Vitality and Sara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in sessions, events, or the use of tools/techniques shared.

By participating, you voluntarily accept all risks associated with:

- Reiki, energy healing, and intuitive work

- Breathwork, meditation, and sound healing

- Yoga, somatic movement, and embodiment practices

- Outdoor or nature-based activities during retreats

Sara and Guiding Light Vitality are released from all liability for injuries, emotional distress, delays, disruptions, or losses arising from participation.

11. Consent & Acknowledgment

By booking with Guiding Light Vitality, you acknowledge:

- You have read and understood these terms.

- You voluntarily agree to participate.

- You release Guiding Light Vitality and Sara from liability for any outcomes or injuries related to sessions, classes, events, or retreats.
